Introduction
Lexsis AI, operated by AETHERIA LABS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Lexsis", "we", "our", or "us"), provides an ecommerce growth platform for consumer brands. Lexsis helps brands monitor AI-search visibility, create and evaluate storefront and landing-page experiences, connect approved ecommerce and marketing data, and measure performance.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect Personal Information when you visit www.trylexsis.com, install or use the Lexsis Shopify app or another approved connection, use the Lexsis platform, or otherwise interact with us.
This policy applies to website visitors, Customer users, and individuals whose data a Customer authorizes us to process through the Services. "Customer" means the business that has an account or installs the Lexsis Shopify app. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Services.
Information We Collect
Account and Organization Information
When a Customer creates an account or contacts us, we may collect:
- Company name, business details, and Shopify store information
- Contact name, email address, role, and account credentials
- Billing and subscription information. Payment card information is processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Shopify and Connected-Source Data
When a Customer installs the Lexsis Shopify app or connects an approved source, we process only the data the Customer authorizes and that is needed for the enabled feature. Depending on the connection and permissions, this may include:
- Store, catalog, product, variant, collection, inventory-availability, pricing, and media information
- Order, checkout, purchase, and refund events used for storefront measurement and attribution
- Customer, customer-segment, and customer-status information where the Customer enables a feature that requires it
- Storefront, page, interaction, device, campaign, referral, and conversion-event data
- Approved data from analytics, advertising, review, lifecycle, support, CRM, search, and AI-visibility tools
The Customer controls the connections it enables and can remove a connection or uninstall the Shopify app. Access after a connection is removed may end immediately or after a short technical deprovisioning period; retained data is handled under the retention terms below and any applicable agreement.
Website Visitor Information
When you use our website, we may collect:
- Contact-form, demo, newsletter, and feedback submissions, including the information you choose to provide
- Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, interactions, timestamps, diagnostics, and error reports
Automatically Collected Storefront Information
Where a Customer enables Lexsis tracking on its storefront and has the appropriate notice and consent, Lexsis may collect pseudonymous identifiers, page and interaction events, device and browser information, referral and campaign information, and purchase or conversion events. These data help the Customer measure storefront activity, attribution, and conversion outcomes.
Shopify App and Connected Integrations
Lexsis is designed to work with a Customer's existing ecommerce platform, storefront, and marketing stack. Shopify and Shopify Plus are supported connections today; available connections may expand over time.
- The Shopify app or another approved connection uses the authorization and access mechanisms made available by that platform.
- Customers choose which connections and permissions to enable for their workspace. The specific data available depends on the Customer's Shopify configuration, enabled scopes, and connected services.
- We use authorized commerce and storefront data to provide the enabled Services, such as catalog onboarding, storefront generation and publishing workflows, experiments, analytics, tracking, attribution, and AI-visibility analysis.
- Customers remain responsible for their Shopify store, theme, checkout, customer notices, consent configuration, and the review and approval of content or storefront changes before publication.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website and understand its use.
First-party cookies:
- lexsis_cookie_consent: stores your cookie preference for one year
- lexsis_case_studies_modal_dismissed: remembers a dismissed case-studies prompt for 180 days
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for website usage analysis. Google Consent Mode defaults analytics and advertising storage to denied until you make a choice through our consent banner. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, secure, support, and maintain the Services

- Create, preview, publish, measure, and improve Customer-approved storefront and marketing workflows
- Provide AI-visibility monitoring, reporting, diagnostics, recommendations, and related platform features
- Deliver tracking, attribution, analytics, experimentation, and performance reporting
- Process billing, manage accounts, communicate service information, and respond to requests
- Prevent fraud, protect our systems, comply with law, and develop and improve the Services
We do not sell Personal Information or use Customer Data for our own advertising.
AI Features and Model Training
Lexsis uses AI services to provide features such as AI-visibility analysis, page and content generation, analysis, recommendations, and workflow assistance.
- By default, Customer Data is not used to train our machine-learning models.
- We use Customer Data only to provide and improve the Services for the Customer, subject to the applicable agreement and law.
- Model improvements may use anonymized, aggregated, synthetic, or publicly available data that does not identify the Customer or its customers.
- A different use of Customer Data for model improvement requires the Customer's explicit written agreement.
AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Customers remain responsible for reviewing output, product claims, offers, tracking, consent behavior, and any content or storefront change before publication.
Data Storage and Security
We maintain a security program designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Personal Information. Measures include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and least-privilege practices, logical separation of Customer environments, secure credential handling, logging and monitoring, vulnerability-management practices, and backup and incident-response procedures.
For the Shopify app and connected ecommerce ecosystem, we use Customer-authorized access mechanisms, restrict processing to the enabled Services, protect credentials and tokens with appropriate controls, and apply access, security, and privacy controls across the connected workflow. No security measure can guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain Personal Information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
- Account and billing data: retained for the account term and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes
- Connected-source data: retained while the connection and relevant workspace are active, subject to the Customer's settings and applicable agreement
- Storefront tracking and analytics data: retained according to the Customer's enabled product configuration and applicable agreement
- Website submissions: retained until deletion is requested or the information is no longer needed
- Cookies: retained for their stated durations
Customers may request export or deletion through their workspace where available or by contacting us. We will process verified requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent Personal Information. We may share it with:
- Service providers and Subprocessors that help provide infrastructure, hosting, analytics, billing, communications, security, or AI services, subject to appropriate contractual protections
- Connected platforms when a Customer directs us to send data to or receive data from that platform
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, security, or property
- Successor entities in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a materially similar policy
